Mental Health Awareness Month
Mental Health: A person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being.
Happy Mental Health Awareness Month!
It is so important to start the conversation about mental health. Every single one of us has it, so why aren't we talking about it?
One in five people are affected by a mental health condition at some point in their lives. That means out of every five people you know, one of them is fighting a battle with mental illness. It affects their entire being and how they live each day; but it does not define who they are.
Join the movement to break the silence and end the stigma. Dedicate this month to raise awareness, educate yourself and the people around you. Not all pain is physical, not all wounds are visible. Mental health is just as important as physical health.
People living with mental health conditions find comfort in knowing they are not alone. Sharing your story can help in your own recovery and inspire others to do the same. You have an authentic voice, share your story, and spread the word.
This month is dedicated to my mental health. Lately, I've been slacking and haven't been taking care of myself the way I should. Even I need a reminder to slow down and take time to center myself. Mental Health Month came at the perfect time!
"Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about."
