Healthy cookie recipe

Happy Wednesday! Today I woke up in a very productive mood and have been a busy bee all morning. While cleaning the kitchen I noticed old bananas sitting in the corner that have yet to be eaten. When I see old bananas I think cookies!!! So I wanted to share this simple healthy cookie recipe that only has two main ingredients. How easy is that! So lets get started!

The two ingredients that you will need are:

2 large bananas

1 cup of oats

Directions:

First thing to do is mash the bananas. If you don’t have old bananas, fresh bananas will do just fine. Once you’ve mashed the bananas to a good consistency (it will look like baby food) then you can add the oats! I usually prefer to use Quaker old-fashioned oats but you can use any type of oats you please.

Now here comes the fun part! After you put the two main ingredients together you can put whatever else you want into the mix! I love to put chocolate chips, flax seeds, cinnamon, and protein powder into my cookies. Feel free to put whatever sounds good. Be creative and make it tasty!

Place the mix on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min. I like to leave my cookies in for a little longer to make them crunchy! Make sure to spray the pan with baking spray or the cookies will get stuck. I’ve learned the hard way.

Once time is up and the cookies are done they will look like this:

I love these cookies because they are super simple and fast to make. It takes about 30 min from start to finish. These cookies are perfect for anyone and are a great on the go snack. I hope you try and enjoy this recipe! Let me know how to goes! :)

love, Jess
